Vacationing in Southern Califonia I rented the V7 II Stone from Todd. What a pleasurable experience. The whole renting process is easy and Todd really knows Moto Guzzi. The bike is like new, very clean and Todd’s modifications (exhaust, ECU, suspension etc) are definitely an improvement compared to the stock bike (I own a V7 back home in France) especially for the canyon roads in the Santa Monica mountains which my wife and I took.
I highly recommend RentAGuzzi and I definitely will be coming back!

  2. I’m brand new to motorcycling, and just got my license. Even so, I had a fantastic day together with Todd in the Mountains of Malibu. Todd is a great instructor and guided me on how to attack the corners – ending up doing the Snake on Mulholland!
A really great day and can only give my best recommendations to this setup. Great bike (V7 II Stone), room and instruction – what more can you ask for?

  3. Had a great time Monday! My friend Heika (who’s thinking of picking up a V7 Stone but) wanted a real ride instead of a dealership “once around the block.” We rented the V7 and the Griso; Both bikes had an incredible sounding exhaust and upgraded suspension and brakes… creating machines that would put a grin on a toothless hillbilly with lockjaw. Damn we had fun, and was sure sorry when our day was ending. Though I ended up spending most of the day on the V7, I did get to enjoy the Griso for about 15 miles of twists and turns. I’d sure like to take the Griso out again… maybe next time. My conclusion is if you’re in SoCal and don’t feel like spending $150 to go to Disneyland, and want to have a real California Adventure, get hold of Todd. His bikes are an E-Ticket ride for sure!

  4. Riding the SoCal canyons has been on my bucket list for quite a while. RentAGuzzi not only made it easy, but truly unique. There are a handful of motorcycle rental agencies from which to choose from in L.A., but none can offer the in-situ experience that they do by not only offering unique rentals, but also in providing lodging in the heart of the Mulholland Hwy area, in addition to providing use of a truly visceral Italian Moto Guzzi motorcycle… and not just one, but several. All of RentAGuzzi’s bikes are pristine with subtle suspension and exhaust mods that take these already awesome pieces of art/machinery to the next level. I was fortunate enough to ride three; the Stelvio, Griso & California. It is an experience that I’ll never forget and I hope to do it again in the future. It also needs to be said that this is a very cost effective alternative to renting an behemoth from the big rental guys. Money well spent and major fun! While I consider myself to have above average riding skills, the hills aren’t for the faint of heart; Newbies should beware. Thanks Todd & Gretchen!

First rate service and bikes. Todd had the bike ready to go when I got there, and gave me a quick rundown about what makes his specially equipped bikes different than the stock version I ride at home. Todd attached a couple of simple accessories (GPS and camera mount) that I brought along while we chatted. RentAGuzzi is located smack dab in the center of the best motorcycling roads in Southern California, so there was no way NOT to have a great time once I left the establishment. The bike ran perfectly well, and with significantly more usable power than my own motorcycle, I really got to enjoy the mountains. Reservation, setup, and settlement were all braindead easy, and Todd returned the unused portion of the deposit with 24 hours of return. Todd was very easy to reach by phone and email and was super responsive to all my questions. I couldn’t be happier with my experience with RentAGuzzi – I definitely intend to return and rent another bike the next time I’m in LA.

Renting from Rent a Guzzi is quite the experience. They’re in the middle of the Santa Monica Mountains with great roads and wonderful scenery. The bikes are tuned for performance. Suspension, upgraded brakes & GT-Rx exhaust and mapping.
I rode the V7 racer and California 1400 both were so much fun! The V7 was light and peppy and the sound was so Guzzi perfect!
The California 1400 is a TORQUE monster, and the full GT-Rx 2-2 stainless exhaust sounds awesome! The bike has amazing power and is fun to ride, and has a great road prowess.
When you rent here, you won’t get a run-of-the-mill rental beater, you simply get the best set-up Guzzi anywhere. Highly recommended!

RENTING MOTO GUZZI’S IN THE MOUNTAINS – A surreal experience!

I can’t possibly speak highly enough about this experience, here’s why:

I was looking for a place to rent outside the dreadful confines of LA and stumbled across Ride Malibu (Rent A Guzzi). I was thrilled that I could ride unique Italian Guzzi’s from a start point high up in the Malibu Mountains, literally a dream come true. I quickly found out Todd, in his own right, is an accomplished motorcycle rider that modifies these Italian stallions. What. A. Treat.
The process felt more like borrowing a bike from a friend than dealing with a rental agency which is what makes this rental process the best I have ever and will ever experience.

My friend and I rented V7 Racer and the Griso, respectively. Each beast is fully tuned, tastefully modified, and prepped, I couldn’t believe these bikes were rentals, they were well taken care of and in excellent condition. I can say that V7 racer is probably more fun unless you’re accustomed to the twisties or a professional rider – the mountains are no place for the faint of heart!

I had such an incredible experience that I plan on going back to see Todd for motorcycle instruction. Truly, this was one of the best motorcycle experiences of my life.
